The Band Foundation always need your help. We need approximately 30 – 40 chaperones for every time the band boards the buses. We need 60 people to work the concession stands at a football game at the high school. To find out more about areas where we need your help and to volunteer, please visit the Volunteers Tab.
How can I help?
Your student and the band program profits from fundraising opportunities. The Band Foundation does not get "a cut" of the profits.
Who benefits from the profits of fundraisers?
The Band Foundation is led by an elected slate of officers who compose the executive board. The executive board follows the by-laws of the organization. The executive board typically meet prior to the general meetings. Board meetings are open to any foundation member.
How is the organization run?
Band Foundation provides much of the labor that is needed to “get the show on the field”. We also help to provide for the financial needs of our students by staffing concessions and other fundraising events throughout the year. The Band Foundation does not interfere with the band directors or the school administration in day to day activities.
What is the purpose of the Band Foundation?
There are no financial dues for Band Foundation membership, but the foundation depends on your support.
Are there any dues required for Band Foundation membership?
All parents of band members, Color Guard and the Highsteppers are automatically members of the Band Foundation. Relatives and friends are welcome to participate in Band Booster activities.
