Charms Office is an information management system purchased by the Trussville City Schools Band Foundation (formerly known as the "Trussville City Schools Band Boosters") for the benefit of the Trussville City Schools Bands. The Trussville City Schools Band Foundation is a not-for-profit organization incorporated for the sole purpose of supporting the Trussville City Schools Bands. Charms Office is not in any way affiliated with the Trussville City School’s accounting system.
All band fees are paid TO THE SCHOOL as these monies are not the property of the band foundation. You have the option of making these payments through the school’s web-pay program: https://trussvilleal.csiepay.com/ or via cash or check to HT Band.
YOU CANNOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS THROUGH CHARMS OFFICE.
The only monies that are accounted for separately and managed by the band foundation are those that are raised from outside fundraising sources such as Oak Mountain and Legions Field concession events.
Any fundraisers held on public grounds such as the rockathon and mattress sale are the property of the SCHOOL and are not managed by the band foundation.
Charms Office is an organizational tool meant to manage these funds in one area for the benefit of the student and parent so they can see at a glance what expenses have been charged and what credits and payments have been made against those expenses. When you make a payment on your fees, those funds are deposited into the school’s bank account and managed by the school. Mr. Waid or the band foundation treasurer then manually inputs the payment information into Charms Office.
Charms Office is also a communication tool with an interactive calendar that we hope to more fully implement in the future. You have the ability to update your personal contact information at any time, signup for volunteer opportunities, and communicate with your band director and treasurer.
With regard to fundraising activity, all fundraising activity is for the benefit of the Trussville City Schools bands and not the property of the student, and the band decides how to use the funds raised. All band fees must be paid in full before any funds earned will be applied to the spring trip.
